Shadows on the Sun follows the high priest-scientist K’inich, whose name translates to “Sun-faced,” as he climbs the steps of a great pyramid in Uxmal. Amidst cities that stand like mathematical poems, he uses advanced obsidian mirrors to monitor the heavens. When a celestial anomaly appears, K’inich initiates ancient protocols to witness a shimmering, humanoid visitor known as a “Helper”. This visitor reveals a terrifying reality: a rock on an impact trajectory threatens the Mayan people with extinction. As a cosmic mystery unfolds, the boundaries between recorded history and advanced science blur in a race against time.
